As I was is my shop it was twenty to midnight I was hearing creaking through out the
shop. I searched every where and nothing could be found. The store was dark and it was
cold. It felt like Jack Frost was here once again to introduce a cold winter. The clocks
where ticking and ticking away.
As I turned to see the outside sky I felt breathing on my freshly chilled flesh. The breath
was warm and the sound was scary. As I turned around there was know one there.
“Who’s there?” I yelled. There was know answer. A few minutes passed and I heard
more noises. I assume it’s the wind but there knowing way for the wind to enter.
As I was sitting in my rocking chair I heard a child laugh.
“Who’s there?” I asked again. There was no answer.
Sitting there I saw a child’s figure across the way. But then disappeared in a quick
wince it was gone. As minutes passed I was getting antsy with hearing, seeing, and
feeling a child in my shop with me is scary and not knowing is more frightening.
As soon as all the clocks went off I knew it was midnight. I wanted to go to sleep
because it was a long day. I went up to my room to see a little girl in a white night gown
in whom who said trick-or-treat. I screamed and yelled all the way to the shop in which
the clocks were still chiming, ringing, and making other pretty sounds. The little girl from
my room yelled Happy Halloween in a witchy and scary way.
