Poetry

I like all kinds of poetry especially to the ones you can relate to. I really like poems by Robert Frost. He has a lot I can relate to about life. My favorite is Fire and Ice. And the line I most relate to is "From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire." I like that it rhyms and that you can relate but the thing that makes me crazy about this poem is that it makes you think. Poems that make you think or even easy to understand. But I like ripping apart the poem and finding the meaning behind it all. The line that I quoted I think it means that since you know what you want you might as well go after it because you want the adrenalin to take over.

In biology class

I walk in the door
Without a minute to lose
The lights turn out
It's time for notes

Prophase
Metaphase
What fun to learn
All in blue and green to read

The teacher walks back and forth
Drawing on the board
You hear the wind howl
It must be biter out

Time ticking by
Looking up every time
Waiting to hear the bell ring
Wishing class would just end

Homework is being passed out
Few seconds left
The bell rings
We all flee in joy that class is over.

Over

Christmas is over and New Years is here.
Hard to believe that life is passing you by.
NO time to lose or present to waste.
Santa came and went leaving New Years in the spot light.
Today the year is officially over and tomorrow starts up.
To my delight the two weeks off is more to me a present from the Board of Ed.
I greatly apprieciate the time away from school.


Tonight is New Years Eve and I doubt that I shall make it. So I bid you all good-bye and I hope
you all have a Happy and Healthy New Year to come.

Music

Have you ever noticed all the music out there. I mean there is so much. You have Rap, R&B, Country, Rock, Punk, Classical, and so many others. But the reason for this post is: Why do people hang out people who only like their type of music? Stereotyping is the best isn't it? I mean I like all music and don't care what's going on but you know how that can be. If you say you like rock and your friend likes R&B then you don't really click any more. I mean it happens but never to me. Probably it's because my friends look at me for me and not the music I listen to. This is only out there because I was talking to my friend about it. Like her best friend dumped her after ten years of friendship all because she didn't like the same music. How horibble is that? Music is music that isn't a big deal to throw your friendship away. What would you do if you had a friend that did that to you? I would be disappointed and outraged by such a thing. i mean how would you feel?

journal 3

There was a fight in gym class today. It was a verbal one but close to a fist fight between two girls. They hate each other and what not but you know. It was funny the way this one girl gave her ex her purse and told him to hold it and he was like OK. It was entertaining the gym teacher was stalling until the cop came to break it up. But I couldn't believe it. It was the most entertaining thing I've ever seen this year. But that was only part of my day so there is more to be coming out.

It's hard to believe Christmas is two weeks from today. I'm really happy that break is coming so I can chilax and hang around. And do absolutly nothing. Yeah that's what I call FREE TIME. Which I'll be happy to have.

Journal #2

Okay, nothing really. Not sleeping again but what else is new. I have been reading a book called Scent of Roses. It's a mystery on a murder that happened on a farm. I love reading it I just can't put it down. I'm always wondering what's going to happen next. I had read it about three years ago and just had an urge to read it again. And I do have to say I forgot a lot and finally understand what was going on. I mean I knew but I don't know it's hard to explain. I love to read and write but reading this book has got me leaping out of my skin. I get so exited when Zack throws in something cool but a corny line. And Elizabeth with her strong mind and will. Yeah that's really all that is going on right now.
